Here's a recipe for dandelion cake:
Ingredients:
1 cup dandelion petals, washed and drained
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
Add the dandelion petals to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and beat until just combined.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve the cake as is, or top it with your favorite frosting or whipped cream.
