Marigold biscuit cake recipe
Here's a simple recipe for making a Marigold biscuit cake:
Ingredients:
2 packets of Marigold biscuits
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup hot water
Instructions:
Crush the Marigold biscuits into small pieces using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
In a saucepan, combine the milk and sugar and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Remove the milk mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla essence and softened butter until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa powder and hot water until smooth.
Add the cocoa mixture to the milk mixture and stir until well combined.
Add the crushed Marigold biscuits to the chocolate mixture and mix until all the biscuits are coated.
Grease a cake tin with butter or cooking spray, and pour the biscuit mixture into it.
Smooth out the top of the mixture with a spatula, cover with cling wrap, and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
Once the biscuit cake has set, remove it from the cake tin and cut it into slices to serve.
